It is also possible to upgrade to a better hotel in Lhasa, but the accommodations in other cities and towns are the best available ones. All accommodations are on a twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional US $ 320.

Day 01 : Arrival in Lhasa (3650m)

When you arrive in Lhasa either by train or flight, your guide will greet you and take you to your hotel .In route to viewing the Yarlung Tsangpo River/ Bhamaputra river (the Longest and largest river in Tibet) and Lhasa river.
After arrive in Lhasa, you can take rest and acclimatize. If you feel to go out, then you can go to the Potala square, where you will enjoy the fountain with different color and get amazing photos of the Potala and around.

Day 02 :  Lhasa Tour - Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street (3650m)

Attraction: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkor street

Today’s tour will first bring you to the Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. It has been used since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections are the gilded burial stupas of past Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet. After you take lunch and then head to Jokhang temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century, in order to promote the Buddhist religion. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve, perhaps the single most venerated object in Tibet Buddhism. Around the temple Barkhor street where you can kora (circling the Barkor street) with pilgrims and locals and buy the souvenirs.

Day 03 : Lhasa Sightseeing (3650m)

Attraction: Drepung Monastery, Norbu Lingka , Sera Monastery

After breakfast, enjoy your one day city tour today that starts with a visit to Drepung Monastery, then continue your tour to Norbulingka and Sera Monastery.
Located 5 km from Lhasa, the Drepung Monastery is considered one of the three great monasteries in Tibet. It was first built in 1416, and held 7,700 monks in its heyday. In Tibetan language, Drepung Monastery means monastery of collecting rice.

Norbulingka means Jewel Garden. First built in 1751, it borrowed architectural style from the inland areas of China while maintaining local ethnic and religious features. Norbulingka served as a traditional summer palace and residence starting with the 7th Dalai Lama, and now it is the largest garden in Tibet.
In the afternoon, the Sera Monastery will be a good choice as well. It is the last of the three principal Yellow Sect monasteries built in Lhasa. The setting itself is very beautiful with cobbled alleyways, temples and colleges. The highlight of visiting Sera Monastery will be watching monks debating inside the shady courtyard behind the main temple. Every day, hundreds of red-robed monks assemble in small groups and practice their debating skills.

Day 04 :  Lhasa (3680m) to Shigatse (3900m) 7hrs

Attraction: Yamdrok-Yutso, Pelkor Monastery , Tashi Lunpu Monastery

Today, we have to drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. On the way, the group will pass over the Gampala pass (4790 m),and tourists will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso (4400m) .The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountain and in the distance you have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar, (7191m) the highest mountain near Lhasa .
We head westward along the lake and drive towards Gyantse. Gyantse was historically Tibet’s third largest city (after Lhasa and Shigatse). In Gyantse, we will visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum.

After one and a half hour’s driving, we arrive in Shigatse, which is the second largest city in Tibet. In Shigatse, we’ll visit Tashilunpo Monastery, the seat of Tibet’s second highest incarnation, the Panchen Lama

Day 05 : Shigatse (3900m) to Everest Base Camp(5200) 7hrs

Attraction:Explore Lanscape, passing through different passes.

We’ll leave Shigatse after getting your Alien’s travel permit, and then drive to Lhatse. It is a small town where you can take lunch.After that, you will drive to Shegar and if the weather is clear enough then on the way down to shegar you will view the Mt, Everest in the distance. After 5 hours drive, you will arrive in Shekar. From Shigar drive continue to the Everest basecamp through Gyawola pass 5190m, in the clear weather your will see five peaks over eight thousand meters, Mt.Everest, Mt.Luotse, Mt.makalu, Mt.Chwoyo, Mt.Shishak Pangma.

Stay overnight at Rongpuk, Guesthouse / Tent

Day 06 : Rongpuk to old Tingri

Attraction: Hikes about 4-5 km till tent place from Rongpuk, drive to old Tingri

You can spend half of your day at Rongpuk, where you can visit the monastery, as well as do hikes near around, but you can only hike till to the tent station. Afternoon take the short way to old Tingri, which will be on a dusty road about 70km. But spectacular landscape.

Day 07 : Old Tingri to Kyirong

Attraction; Himalaya range, Shishakpangma, Pelku Tso

Today you will drive to Kyirong, which is a newly opened border after the massive earthquake in Nepal in 2015, the original border was effected by earthquake and had to close. On the way you will drive through the Himalaya range and see snow capped mountains, as well as Mt.Shishakpangma, which is the only one mountain from the Himalaya over 8+, whole mountain is on the China side. drive continue to Kyirong cross the Gongtangla pass over 5000.

Day 08 : Cross the border to Nepal

We arrive in Lhasa, at Gonggar Airport either from a direct flight from Nepal or via mainland China. If we decide to fly from Nepal then we get to enjoy around an hour-long trans-Himalayan flight, considered to be one of the most beautiful air routes in the world that takes us over Everest (8,848m), Kanchenjunga (8,536m) and other Himalayan peaks and glaciers. If we choose to go to Lhasa via mainland China, we may fly from any of the major Chinese cities or take the world’s highest train route to Lhasa. Upon our arrival in Lhasa, a representative from Himalayan Glacier will pick us up either from the airport or the train station for about an hour’s drive to our designated hotel in Lhasa.
